Let me say John Trudell is not properly a blues musician although he has some music basis which can remind us this kind of music. Trudell is a poet of our time who recites his poetry surrounded by a kind of music quite close to sioux folksongs, as he grew up among these people. John is now totally involved with North American Indians rights movement and he does an active fight against injustices they have suffered along the years. The cd was recorded live in Paris, France on July the 12th 2002 and truly reflects the pain and desperation of a man who suffers about his race future and fate.
