    Valoración:

The poet, musical researcher and writer John Sinclair has carried out the first musical part of his book ‘Fattening Frogs For Snakes’, a book he has been working on for about twenty years To set music to his poems John has been helped by very good friends who have contributed putting their instruments in favor of literature The music for these poems is pure Mississipe Delta style with John reciting them, backed with Bill Lynn on rhythm guitar, Jeff Baby Grand on slide guitar and lead guitar, Richard Tricky Dickson on bass and Michael Voelker on drums, plus some other special guest musicians in various musical poems Andre Williams leaded the final production and he has done a fine work too If you are interested on setting poetry into Delta blues music, then you will certainly like this cd But once again I remind you John Sinclair does not sing, he recites poetry A cd which does not admit in-between: you love it or you deeply dislike it
