Some reviews I have recently been reading about this cd, have not been rather good but, I must confess I have personally enjoyed it I personally think is a good piece of work, well recorded and with a faultless final production, where Mayall does not give a show off conceited performing The album oozes blues from the first to the last song and Mayall plays on a very restrained way, always respecting the main formal concepts of rock-blues spirit The album offers a classical conception and good development, that clearly shows John’s passionate devotion to the blues All musicians are extremely inspired, bright and well teamed, which makes as a result a cd that follows firm honest patters and criteria along the tasteful elegant forty songs included on it
