Forty-eight minutes of great music, good vibrations, overflowing chemistry, fun, swing and joy, this is what bring in this first album two versatile and excellent musicians like John January and Linda Berry Both are two veterans of Californian jump blues and blues rock scene, as well as great enthusiasts and fans of the music they perform with careful taste and delivery They met by chance during a Linda’s show and they immediately knew they should join forces to give the best of themselves The result became soon evident and is in this album where they have shown and faithfully expressed the creativity and good work they have done together They are backed by an excellent roster of studio musicians and a horn section that perfectly match with the two musicians John January’s voice and guitar has been requested by artist like Curtis Salgado, The Bayou Brothers or piano player Sue Palmer On the other hand, Linda Berry’s voice gives off influences coming from Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, Beth Hart, Etta James or Koko Taylor All these influences can be slightly heard in both musicians work, a music that will surely open the heart and senses of most listeners
