The Blues Freaks is a Spanish band led by Texas singer and bass player John Duer Together with José Luis Sepul Sepúlveda on drums and Budy García on slide guitar and backing vocals, the trio published their first work in 2017, which was very well received from fans who clapped hands when they listened to it Now The Blues Freaks presents their new album that, like the previous one, has been released by Big Beard Records This second recording has a more ambitious approach than the first one, because they have counted with the collaboration of a good roster of guest musicians such as Walter Daniels on harmonica, Sergi Fecé on piano, Julián Maeso on organ, Chris Masuak on guitar and Amable Rodríguez on guitar too The result is a remarkable collection of eleven songs displayed on a professional way and an extreme care, including eight own compositions together with three good covers, one coming from Kokomo Arnold, another by Roy Todd Engram and the third one by Johnny Winter This is an album that can be placed in the middle of the country sounds of American roots music and the most bucolic intimistic back porch blues
