Together with his band, singer, harmonica and occasional guitar player John Clifton preserve the most genuine 50’s and 60’s blues, soul and rock & roll vintage sound All musicians give their best to develop and perform the music they most like, besides doing an entertaining stage show that immediately connect with the most varied audiences This album follows the same line of what I have just mentioned, something that can be easily realized from the first time you listen to it The recording gathers twelve songs, five of them John Clifton’s original compositions In every track Clifton shows his skills on blues, as well as his wide range of vocal resources and the fine versatile way to blow harp, he does it with a tasteful elegance and good technique And if all that was not enough, John is perfectly supported by Scott Abeyta on guitar, Bartek Szopinski on piano, Matt Moulton on bass and John Shafer and Roman Rivera on drums In short words, if you like the great tradition of the golden 50’s and 60’s, played with deep passion, inspiration and much content, then this is an album that should not miss in your record collection
