After working hard to get a name on the Pacific Northwest blues scene, besides winning eighteen times the “Best Of The Blues” Awards from the Washington Blues Society, singer, harmonica player and composer Joel Astley releases his first solo recording, hoping it will help him to get popularity both nationally and in the international blues scene and reach a place he deserves among the actual great blues names.

The album gathers eleven vibrant own songs recorded at the renowned Greaseland Studios owned by Kid Andersen, who put to Joel’s service an outstanding group of musicians such as Johnny Burgin on guitar, Randy Bermudes on bass, June Core on drums, Jill Dineen and Marina Crouse on vocals and finally Kid Andersen himself on keyboards, electric and acoustic guitar and vocals.
