Joan Pau Cumellas and Miguel Talavera are two musicians who come from Barcelona, both virtuosos of their respective instruments Once again they have joined forces to present a new project entitled, Rollin’ And Tumblin’ They are backed by some guest musicians and work fellows, like Miquel Ballester and Enric Illa on drums, Pep Pérez Cucurella on bass, Errol Woiski vocals in the song Train Smoke Blues and Agustí Martínez on clarinet in the song Pas Dixie Both guitarist and singer Miguel Talavera and harmonica player and vocalist Joan Pau Cumellas have to give music lessons to survive in this competitive world of non commercial music, because it is very difficult in Spain to devote full time to music and earn ones life only with live performances But coming back to the cd, let me say you will find fourteen songs that could be qualified as ‘design blues and other related styles’ All tracks have excellent and careful harmonica, dobro and guitar performances, mostly acoustic ones, with faultless, elegant, relaxed and colorful solos, which clearly show the exquisite peculiarities and skills of both musicians Also mention the perfect support of the rhythm section, which tastefully dress up all cd songs with an incredible technique and skill
