New album by one of the greatest actual representatives of southern swamp-rock with influences of Memphis soul and funk-blues, styles that can be found in this album. We are referring to singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist JJ Grey.

Coming from Florida, JJ Grey is an artist who has gone from playing at small juke joints in Jacksonville to do sold out shows at countless festivals both in U.S.A and Europe. His success is based on his total honesty on stage, besides he is always surrounded by a spectacular band, as well as developing a varied, dynamic repertoire, to immediately attract a varied audience which is totally caught by his charismatic delivery on stage.

Since 2001 JJ Grey has released nine albums, and this one is the tenth in his career. The recording pushes the limits of his musical creativity, showing his talent as a singer, instrumentalist and composer, in songs that tell us mythical and ancestral stories coming from south Florida, as well as introducing people Grey knew in that particular area who have become part of his cultural and musical background.
