Great Eddie Burns’ youngest brother, Jimmy Burns, comes back after a time of silence with enough strenght and energy to produce a powerful Chicago-raw-blues cd that follows the same path than his previous piece of work If Leave Here Walkin’ was a very interesting debut cd and received some nominations and awards by specialized media, Back To The Delta cd deserves to be taken into a very high account Cool, bright, passionate, deep, intense, amazing or priceless are some of the adjectives that could define Jimmy’s piece of work, that should led him to the top of blues scene The backing musicians do a precise professional performing and totally satisfy Burns’ expectations The result is an honest well done cd which makes me think it’s a pity blues is a minoritary music because if blues was a popular music Jimmy Burns would now be on top of charts next to great rock megastars
