Another priceless jewell of Random Chance factory, that one more time surprises us with the high quality and good taste of the musicians included on their catalogue All cd songs had been previously unreleased, so Chicago Jump has a double interest, because it was the last cd Jimmie recorded before passing away and besides it lets us discover his new and late own compositions Robinson does a powerful passionate singing and plays guitar with an intense feeling The backing musicians are Rockin’ Johnny Burgin on guitar too, Sho Komiya on bass, Twist Turner on drums and Scott Dirks who plays harp and has also written the cd inner notes A beautiful tribute and final homage to a brave bluesman who courageously did a non-stop fight in favour of the historical preservation of the famous Maxwell Street in Chicago
