From Portland, Oregon, the excellent faultless drummer Jimi Both (Mark Hummel, Rod Piazza, Fabulous Thunderbirds) gives us a selection of fifteen tracks, some of them own compositions and the rest covers of some of his best friends who also play on the cd, among them the late Paul DeLay or Dave Kahl, AC Porter, Marco Savo, Jim Wallace and Suburban Slim, one of the musicians who also plays with The Strange Tones, one of the most interesting Portland bands The cd was recorded live at the emblematic ‘Duff’s Garage’ club in Portland The album is an interesting showcase to the music now cooked in Oregon, a mixture of savoury ingredients like swing, funky, soul and first class blues Is time for dancing and enjoy the explosive music of an outstanding drummer like Mr Jimo Bott My congratulations Jimmi!!
