The most powerful Canadian blues bands, especially those who play rock-blues, often come from the Midwest part of the country. From Toronto arrives this new and powerful group, gifted with a special intense, hard and raw muscle, able to bring back to life a dead person. The name of this explosive group is Jim Dan Dee and includes Shawn “Stix” Royal on drums, Jim “Dan Dee” Stefanuk on guitar and vocals, Dwayne “Gameshow” Lau on bass and Jason “Bobby” Sewerynek on sax.

The recording presents eleven songs, ten written by band leader, guitar player and singer Jim “Dan Dee”, plus a cover of the classic “The Things That I Used To Do” coming from Guitar Slim. The whole group communicates an overwhelming personality, as they are not a simple usual rock-blues band, as they always give to their music tons of personality together with a rich imaginative display, which makes them slightly different from other Canadian Midwest bands

Those who were able to listen to their first EP which was focused in the song “Five Stiff Shots”, will easily realize the amazing evolution they have reached now. They have got a high level and mature sound and their progress is more than surprising. Surely these musicians will not disappoint his followers who have now become a countless crowd.
