Jeremiah Johnson had more than seventy dates with 2020 Ruf Records Blues Caravan when, due to the pandemic, all the shows were cancelled Instead of complaining about the situation, Johnson decided it was time to put himself on work and release an album especially devoted to all his followers He found inspiration on this terrible pandemic and the problems it has globally caused He has also counted with the valuable collaboration of two remarkable musicians like Paul Niehaus IV on bass, keyboards and vocals and Tony Antonelli on drums, percussion and vocals Seven own compositions plus one version of Luther Allison’s song Cherry Red Wine round up an album that could basically be defined as genuine blues-roots-rock, although there is also place for some swinging country and raw blues In this particular time where most musicians are really frustrated, Jeremiah Johnson puts all the passion, energy and intense feeling in every song, which let us realize and appreciate his excellent technique both in vocals and guitar
