    Valoración: VERY GOOD

If Jeremiah Johnson already reached number 6 on the Billboard blues album charts with his previous recording Straitjacket, this new album deserves at least the same recognition or even more To do so, Johnson has immersed himself in the roots of southern rock, blues and Americana music, along eleven own compositions and a version of the classic Born Under A Bad Sign Not only his guitar and voice perform the most raw and greasy roadhouse blues, but also Frank Bauer’s sax and Tony Antonelli’s percussion (Allman Brothers Band) contribute to get the groove Jeremiah was looking for this recording There should also be mentioned some of his songs lyrics like as in Leo Stone, a song where he talks about the happiness and joy of the imminent son’s birth In Long Way Home Jeremiah explains the terrible experience of his grandmother’s severe dementia and the last time she was able to recognize him Forever And A Day talks about the loneliness one feels without his family during a long tour far away from home Finally, there should also be mentioned the musical contribution of Tony Anthonis on bass, Rick Steff on keyboards, Benet Schaeffer on drums and Pete Matthews on backing vocals
