Jeff Chaz is well known along New Orleans area He started to play trombone in dancing orchestras, but soon he discovered he wanted to play blues, so he began to perform guitar while he was in California His previous recording was published just after Katrina hurricane devastate Crescent city and, since then on, Jeff has not stopped to play and give his music all over the area He has also been invited to participate at the opening ceremony of Dr Martin Luther King Civil Rights Museum in Memphis Now Jeff Chaz has just published this amazing album, the best one up to date where, besides New Orleans rhythm and blues, there can be noticed other influences coming from musicians like BB King, Albert King, Little Milton, Roy Buchanan or even Frank Zappa, on a custom made twelve own songs, build up over a wide range of guitar riffs and an exultant, energetic, strong voice but, at the same time, with a good control of the exceeding resources and the nuances required to make a credible genuine sound that will not disappoint listeners All musicians involved do a remarkable work and horn arrangements are excellent too, so final result becomes completely fine and accurate
