Deeply influenced by his mentor Little Milton, Jeff Chaz has spread his blues around the whole Memphis and New Orleans areas His style combines Delta blues with a touch of Memphis soul This time Jeff has decided to gather some of his favourite songs published in previous albums now out of print, although musically they are fully valid All songs are Jeff’s own compositions and he has also been in charge of the whole production If you listen attentively to the album, you will discover in its music the taste and smell of BB King, Albert King but also of James Brown, Frank Zappa or Roy Buchanan This is a formidable varied and genuine album, where Jeff engages himself with strength and passion in every song and, both his voice and guitar sound with a bright heartbreaking feeling that will certainly impress you Besides Jeff Chaz on guitar and vocals, the rest of the backing musicians are Greg Villafranco and John Autin on keyboards, Douglas Potter and Doug Therrien on bass and Allyn Robinson, Michael Sollars and Barry Flippen on drums, plus some curious metal arrangements by AJ Pittman
