This is the fourth JC Crossfire studio album Coming from South Florida, Crossfire began his musical career in the blues field during the early nineties, deeply impressed by the playing of guitarists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robert Cray, Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy In fact he began to play guitar when he was only ten years old Little JC spent hours and hours in front of the mirror pretending he was playing the instrument So one day his father brought him a guitar he had found in a road container and you will never know how happy he was from that day on The album gathers nine songs, mostly original ones, plus Sunflower Mississippi, written in collaboration with legendary singer and guitarist Matt ‘Guitar’ Murphy Besides JC Crossfire –whose initials mean Joe Cannizzo- on vocals and guitar, the other musicians are Toni Calabria on bass, Al Rich on drums, Steve Lombardelli on sax and keyboards and Joe Beard on piano Songs inspired by turbulent times as well as deep feelings of love, loneliness, fights, failures and triumphs, come along this gratifying album that could be savoured and enjoyed with full satisfaction
