This time Delmark Records have decided to reissue an old Lp of one of his catalogue artists who unfortunately died about twenty years ago, singer and ‘slide’ guitar player JB Hutto He was one of the greatest ‘houserockin’ sound artists and if he was still alive, his style would certainly be defined as ‘garage blues’ Hutto’s hard and harsh shrill and biting music is perfectly reflected along the nineteen songs included on the cd that clearly show that unvarnished strong sound this great musician used to have Stompin’ At Mother Blues is not probably his best record but it gives collectors the opportunity to get it on cd format and also gives the opportunity to complete the discography on an original peculiar bluesman
