Javier Casal is a Spanish musician who comes from Galicia with extensive studies in the music field His skills have led him to explore many and varied styles from punk or pop to electronic music He is also an expert in the audio-digital world and he has done different productions for other bands This does not mean Javier does not deeply know the blues, as in 1991 he founded the group Dr Hello and in 2012 Javier and Marcos Legazpi created Missin’ Blues Band Now in the middle of 2015, he has decided to record his first solo album which introduces us his ‘alter ego’ personality where he hides himself as Jay Doe Only backed by his guitar and, sometimes, with a dobro and harmonica, Jay clearly displays his unaffected versions of songs like Love On Vain, Ramblin’ on My Mind, Walking Blues, Malted Milk, Drifting Blues or Key To The Highway among others, and he does it on a calm but at the same time with an extreme honesty, energy and feeling Marcos Legazpi is also on guitar in a couple of songs
