    Valoración: VERY GOOD

One of the most able virtuoso contemporary West Coast scene harmonica players turns up with a new cd recorded for Eclecto Groove label, on a modern joyful sound that will satisfy fans of overblows and other similar stylistic resources of that small instrument also known as Mississippi saxophone Jason Ricci is not a traditional blues performer or a genuine representative of this musical style, although he has deep blues influences which becomes evident along Rocket Number 9 His style is much closer to Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Pat Ramsey or Junior Kimbrough than Muddy Waters or T-Bone Walker to mention two opposite examples of performing the same musical genre Anyway, this is a good record that includes rock, americana and some blues that will be deeply appreciated by most eclectic modern fans of discographical novelties
