Fame and prestige of singer, guitar player and songwriter Jason Buie has not stop to grown among Vancouver blues and rock fans where, in recent times, Jason has become highly respected, thanks to his natural innate professional qualities and his amazing feeling he communicates in his live shows His music is full of the best raw materials like blues, funk, rock and soul music Jason has drunk and is still drinking with an undeniable thirst All this becomes evident along this new work that includes seven original songs by Jason Buie and band drummer John Hunter, together with four splendid versions like House Party coming from Amos Milburn, Driftin’ Heart by Sue Foley, You’re Sweet by Jimmy Rogers and Cold Cold Feeling by Jesse Mae Robinson The excellent backing band which supports our star includes Dave Webb on piano and Hammond B-3, George Fenn on bass and John Hunter on drums These four musicians sound energetic, really appealing and always give an extreme intensity This is an album with not a single bad note on it, so I strongly recommend tp listen to it in depth to enjoy the incredible blues and rockin’ blues played by these great musicians
