Here comes a very dynamic and passionate blues artist James Montgomery sings and blows harmonica with a complete impunity, without fear or mistrust James is an inspired musician gifted with a great emotional talent He learned directly from musicians like James Cotton, Junior Wells and John Lee Hooker and, although time has quicly gone passing by, James carries on his back the weight of the whole blues tradition Despite so many time in the music world, he still has the same vitality he has shown over the years with an unbelievable catching energy His shows are unique, stunning and incendiary, because he always gives to the audience the best of himself with all his courage in a hurricane of devastating feelings Besides James Montgomery on harmonica and vocals, the other musicians who back him along these recordings are George McCann on guitars, David Hull on bass and Seth Pappas on drums and percussion You will also find several guests musicians like James Cotton, who joins the band to perform a terrific lowdown country blues, Aerosmith band member Joey Kramer, rapper DMC, some horns belonging to The Uptown Horns and Johnny Winter himself, as we should not forget James played in Winter’s band for four years In short words, an album to be calmly enjoyed and savoured
