Joyful amusing ‘jump & New Orleans blues sound’ and ‘greasy rockin’ groove’ band, leaded by singer and harmonica player James Day who has as supporting band drums, acoustic bass, piano and guitar, plus some guest musicians with complete a horn section, accordion, percussion, etc All musicians enjoy themselves and love what they are doing, although they know their limitations and they do not hide them, because they do not pretend to be outstanding musicians, but simply give joy and pleasure and make listeners dance James Day & The Fish Fry accomplish their purpose and immediately communicate all their joy and sympathy The band began to play in 2003 and since then on they have been busy doing continuous shows along Philadelphia area, on countless local clubs and well known festivals such as Eastern Shore Festival
