James ‘Buddy’ Rogers could be qualified as a dream made true James is an able musician gifted with a fine style and, the most important thing, he attracts wide audiences His guitar sounds like a good blues guitar player should make it sound, because James does not deceive, he is an honest musician who plays what he feels When he was only fifteen, Buddy and his band The Texas Storm were already playing regularly in clubs and bars of Vancouver area of his native country Canada In the middle of the 90’s, only aged nineteen, he started a new life on the road, together with bass player Russell Jackson, who had previously played with BB King They started to perform in different clubs and Kansas City area festivals, sharing stage with Canned Heat, The Holmes Brothers, Elvin Bishop, Kenny Neal, Katie Webster and many others During the last twelve years James ‘Buddy’ Rogers has been very busy playing in countless gigs and touring along Canada and some European countries, getting a great success and good reviews among fans and specialized media This album perfectly proves the things James and his backing musicians are able to do when they go to a recording studio So, you cannot miss it
