James Buddy Rogers is a guitar player, singer and song writer coming from Kansas City When he was a teenager he started to play at every club, cafe and bar in the area, which made him to share stage with such great artists like Canned Heat, Sam Taylor, The Holmes Brothers, Elvin Bishop, Kenny Neal or Katie Webster among others In year 2000 Rogers founded his own band to develop all musical ideas he had on mind, travelling to Canada and visiting Europe too His guitar influences come from people like Johnny Guitar Watson, Jimmie Vaughan and the Kings, BB, Freddie and Albert The album gathers ten James Buddy Rogers own songs, plus a version the song Goin’ Down coming from Freddie King Together with his band, where you will find Slammin’ Mike Wedge on bass and James Hollywood Badger on drums, plus some guest musicians, James has rounded up a brilliant recording, with an elegant final production by James himself, which clearly shows he is an artist who has forged himself after many years in the blues world
