Don’t you know who is Jake E. Lee? I am sure if I mention names like Ozzy Osbourne, Ratt, Dio or Badlans, you will immediately recognize him and remember Jake has played guitar on their bands. On this cd he pays homage to some of his musical heroes like Johnny Winter, Willie Dixon or even Robin Trower. “Retraced” gathers a bunch of well done and good developed ‘rockin’ blues’ songs. He is backed by Tim Bogert (‘Vanilla Fudge’, ‘Beck’, ‘Bogert & Apiece’) on bass, Chris Logan (‘MSG’) on vocals and Aynsley Dunbar (‘John Mayall Bluesbreakers’, ‘Whitesnake’, ‘MSG’, ‘UFO’) on drums. His talented work, he displays together with the rest of the musicians, give as a result eleven bright electrifying and excellent songs.
