Once again, the new recording of singer, composer and guitar player J. Teixi hits the target with the usual mixture of styles included in his songs, always filled with rock ‘n’ roll and blues and deeply rooted in the pure old traditional music, also developing his own compositions usually sung in Spanish.

After a long and fruitful career with a good number of records published, J. Teixi is now is in the best moment of his musical career and this album fully proves it. Straight strong songs with impressive arrangements, where Teixi’s voice and guitar merge with an undeniable strength. In fact, he was looking for new songs with an energetic punch to include them into his live repertoire. Finally, fourteen of them, that include ten own compositions, are the ones that give shape to this album that, as I said before, mix rock and rhythm & blues with other rhythms like New Orleans music, blues or soul.

To do so, J. Teixi has counted with some impressive musicians and a faultless production that enhance his musical skills. They are his band musicians Emilio Galacho on organ and piano, Dani Montemayor on bass and accordion and Charlie Hens on drums, together with the collaboration of Ricardo Santamaría on harmonica, Juanma Del Olmo on guitars, Nacho Muñoz on trumpet, Rafael Díaz on sax and Roberto Bazán on trombone.

Black music with the particularity it is sung in Spanish, performed by one of the most charismatic artists of the national scene.
