Fantastic new album by singer and guitar player J. Teixi, that has just been released with an excellent selection of instrumental songs. The recording is a collection of songs J Teixi has published throughout his career, that have carefully been selected together with some new songs to give shape to this album entitled “Diez de Diez”. The ten instrumentals are “La Mula”, “Lincoln Avenue”, “Go-Win”, “Going To A Go-Go”, “Sintonia nº2”, “Lo Quiero”, “¿Dónde Está Sally?”, “Memphis Boulevard”, “Hot Flamingo 313” and “El Club 66”.

To the fact that all the songs are instrumental ones, Javier Teixidor says: “a good instrumental is the best way to start a party, that’s what we like, it’s like welcome guests at home and give them the best wine, as a foretaste of what will come next”.

All songs have been carefully chosen and become an outstanding and remarkable feature of the styles J. Teixi and his band perform live. Soul, blues or rhythm and blues among other deliveries and flavors, go hand in hand in this magnificent recording that will delight all Teixi fans.

The musicians who have participated in the songs are Emilio Galiacho on piano and organ, drummers Charly Hens and Antonio Melgar, J. Teixi on guitar, Daniel Montemayor on accordion and bass and a horn section including Juan Muro and Rafa Diaz on tenor saxes, Valentin Alvarez on alto and baritone sax and Nacho Muñoz on trumpet.

We welcome this fresh dynamic album that, let me say, will once again give joy and happiness to everyone who comes to listen to it. Besides, I am convinced it will not disappoint most of you.
