Only aged twenty-six, Ivor SK is a young Australian musician whose love for the blues comes from the time he was only fourteen years old Ivor is also a multi-instrumentalist able to reach anything he has on mind and this album proves it Over the last few years Ivor has gathered an extensive experience playing in a variety of bars, clubs, restaurants or cafes Now he has decided it was the right time to produce and publish his first album with ten songs, a recording where he plays all the instruments, from guitar to bass, drums and percussion, as well as all the vocals in each and every one of the ten compositions he has chosen for the recording The songs slide along Mississippi banks, but also include some tributes to reggae or Caribbean rhythms and the song that gives title to the album Montserrat is an ode to that beautiful Caribbean island Intimate lyrics that, at the same time, communicate hope and joy of living, all them performed with a natural simplicity and honesty From these lines we wish Ivor SK a big success in his promising career
