Debut recording by a new female voice on the Spanish blues scene with a six-song mini LP Her name is Itziar Yagüe and for ten years she has sung in various bands, all them related with Afroamerican music Itziar decided to release it in vinyl format to get a more genuine format and dive us to traditional styles ranging from New Orleans calypso like the opening album song Delicious that gives title to the LP, to the most traditional blues to end with Red River, a typical black gospel song Deeply Influenced by the pioneer female blues voices who fought for women’s equality in music, this album is also a vindictive work in terms of the lyrics content, without forgetting the musical part she also gives a remarkable importance To do this she has surrounded herself with outstanding musicians like Giulio Pietropaolo on grand piano and Fender Rhodes, who has also written all arrangements, Luís Carpizo on tenor sax in two tracks, Víctor Barceló on harmonica in one track, Raul Platz on double bass, who has coordinate all the artistic direction and arrangements, Elvira Sodalita on drums, Enric Peidró on sax in one cut, Emilio Arsuaga on vocals in one song and the backing vocals by Monica Benito in one song This is a careful work, displayed with honesty and devotion that confirm the good work and the upward career of this promising singer called Itziar Yagüe
