Cole and Logan Layman have grown up sharing and playing the music they most like and move them Now they have become a couple of versatile musicians who can be on stage on a duo format, as well as on a trio backed by their mother on drums and washboard or as members of a band which includes keyboards, a horn section and an impressive drummer who has always been these two young musicians mentor Both are passionate blues lovers and today they represent the new blues blood which aims to give continuity to the genre, they build over valid actual criteria This is their debut album where they cleverly mix in equal parts youthfulness and maturity performing on a passionate easygoing way every song of their repertoire For this album they have chosen nine songs, five own ones, two covers, one coming from Howlin’ Wolf and the other one from Janis Joplin, and two more written by Holly Montgomery The guys put all their undeniable talent and wild strength in each of the album songs, where they are also perfectly backed by a bunch of able and effective musicians
