Singer and fiddle player Ilana Katz Katz began his musical career in year 2008 playing in the crowded Boston Massachusetts subway platforms A casual meeting with Ronnie Earl in 2013 made possible Ronnie noticed her performing talent and offered her to play in her debut album which was recorded in 2014, besides performing as a special guest in most of her live shows of that year Now, Ilana has gained reputation as a versatile artist with a special taste, good attitude, emphasis and good accent for improvisation This is her third album which has been produced by Barry Levenson, Canned Heat former member, and has counted with the collaboration of Sugar Ray Norcia on harmonica and Anthony Geraci on piano as deluxe guest musicians Along the thirteen album songs Ilana Katz Katz shows she is a unique and original artist in the form, way and musical spaces, who also knows how to capture the essence of deep south roots blues and the country hills folk tradition, thanks to her mastery at fiddle and a simple unpretentious voice, which give her a particular musical personality
