Here comes a powerful four musicans band which play with very good manners hard Chicago blues His second album ”Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?” brings all the hot atmosphere of their powerful live performances in bars and small clubs from Midwest to West Coast This is a good cd The second album The Big Score recorded for Evidence, follows the same musical path than the previous one but the only difference is that here their musical experimentation goes further off blues, soul or funky, but always framed by modern Chicago blues sound they perform with an extremely ease, as they know what they do is well played and built up All songs are own compositions, which gives a supplementary interest to this cd Of the three Howard & The White Boys cds, I prefer this third one Spontaneous and original but, at the same time powerful and strong, the band gives us a great dose of swing and feeling along the whole album, that was recorded live from the Chord on Blues club in Saint Charles, Illinois They know how to communicate the heated warm atmosphere of a week-end small club I am sure that on that particular night, those who were there really got the blues
