This album becomes a small jewel for all those who love American roots music, acoustic guitars, blues and folk Hot Hands is an acoustic duo coming from Zaragoza formed by Joaquín Pardinilla on acoustic, electric and slide guitars and Ernesto Cossio on acoustic guitar and vocals Both musicians perfectly understand each other and give us a tasteful pleasant repertoire that includes versions of songs coming from artists like Mississippi John Hurt, Ida Cox & Papa Charlie, Willie Cobbs, Robert Johnson, Delmore Brothers, Tom Waits, Jim Campbell & Reg Connelly, Reverend Gary Davis or Johnny Cash, as well as a couple of songs from the traditional USA folk song book Both players have done an excellent musical selection, they performs with great technique that, in some passages, could remind us Tony Joe White or JJ Cale, but that never loose the beautiful real traditional style A luxury to have Hot Hands into the Spanish scene and have the pleasure to enjoy an album displayed with elegance and refined technique Let’s hope this duo follows working on, to delight us with his undeniable quality
