Here comes a poetical intimate acoustic album by a duo formed by the sweet Holly Hyatt, who sings and also plays acoustic guitar and electric bass, and Jon Burden, who also sings and plays acoustic and slide guitars The vocal harmonies of both musicians are magnificent, with perfectly matched excellent arrangements This is the third album they have released of blues and roots music, which are deeply based in pre-war rural blues tradition with contemporary arrangements where they show a surprising sensitivity Their music always reminds me those Afroamerican community parties on small southern towns, where they met after a hard working day, to enjoy a good dinner and dance with a joyful relaxing music The album includes eleven songs, nine the duo own ones and two Robert Johnson’s covers In short words, this is a good record where you will find a joyful mixture of styles, ranging from delta blues to gospel or field hollers music
