Helgé Tallqvist comes from the northern cold land of Finland. He is an extremely skilled harmonica player and he shows it along this surprising album, especially with chromatic harp, he mostly plays along the songs included on the cd. It is a powerful straight record where he plays homage to one of his favourite artists, the great George ‘Harmonica’ Smith. He dedicates the cd to him on a tribute full of good bright moments and faithfully giving the same ‘maestro’ sound. A highly recommended record for chromatic harmonica and West Coast blues lovers but especially for George ‘Harmonica’ Smith fans.
