After the good reception of the first release for Vizztone Records, now this label publishes a second album by singer, bass player and songwriter Heather Newman who has also been nominated for 2019 Blues Music Awards The album includes thirteen Heather’s own compositions where she develops her personal story starting from a failed love relationship that led her to the edge of the precipice until she accepted and controlled her own destiny and learned how to build up her own way Her personal history becomes the album common thread, where Heather Newman gives to listeners all her musical potential and qualities, both in vocals and as bass player and even playing acoustic guitar in some songs, always with a total delivery and passion that stand out to highlight all her undeniable qualities She is perfectly surrounded by Ryan Matthew keyboards, percussion and vocals, Keith Ladd on guitar and Adam Watson on drums, together with the valuable collaboration of Michael’s Lefever on sax and Teddy Krulewich on trumpet This is an engaging suggestive recording, of those one cannot find every day
