Heather Newman began her musical career in Omaha, Nebraska, when she still was a small girl Some years later she moved to Kansas City, Missouri, joining Nick Schnebelen’s band, where she played bass, listened, learned, recorded with them and, the most important thing, she sang her own songs and gradually got experience to become a solo artist At the beginning of year 2017 she formed her own band with Keith Ladd on guitar, Ryan Flemmer in keyboards and Cole Mccarthy on drums With these musicians supporting her leadership, Heather gives a show full of energy and strength, in an amazing communication with the audience that are caught by her music with an overflowing passion At the end of the same year 2017 the band recorded their first album, with the special collaboration of Mick Schnebelen and Michael Lefever Along the twelve original songs that make up the album, Heather tells us, in the form of powerful energetic roadhouse rock-blues, some of the experiences she has lived as a musician, like her long trips to play a gig, her intense shows in small clubs, her hard work in music, besides other feelings like loneliness, love and all what the blues means to her
