Although Harvey Brindell has been in the music business for about thirty-five years, something that has let him to perform and record with some of West Coast most respected musicians, it has not been until now that he has decided to release his first album under his own name. Although Harvey considers himself a guitar player, he dares to play harmonica and keyboards in some of the album songs with more than a satisfactory result. Harvey has recruited a team of excellent musicians and friends for the album, like JW-Jones and Johnny Burgin on guitars, Mitch Kashmar on harmonica and Jimi Bott on drums, an aces trio, who are joined by bass players Alec Brindell, Dave Wagner, Joel Meints and Eric Byorth, guitar player Mike Brindell, drummers Gary Williams, Dave Meints and Don Holmquist, harmonica player John ‘Honeyboy’ Turner and keyboard player Dennis Lusk. Some of the songs included in the album had never previously been recorded and belong to his live shows repertoire, a couple of songs were released together with John ‘Honeyboy’ Turner and some others were recorded but not published till now. This is a good blues album that accurately reflects the interesting work and musical tastes of a singer and guitar player called Harvey Brindell.
