Here comes a singer and harmonica player who has been active since the 70’s, playing around all clubs in Chicago area where his services have been required by other habitual musicians of the Windy City scene For quite a long time Hinds played at Theresa’s Lounge as member of the club regular band, sharing stage with Junior Wells, Sammy Lawhorn, John Primer, Earnest Johnson, Nate Applewhite and Muddy Waters Jr He has also done outstanding recording collaborations, blowing his harp for Koko Taylor, Lefty Dizz, Big Moose Walker, John Primer, Eddie Taylor, Jr or Mud Morganfield among others In this new work recorded under his own name, Harmonica Hinds displays fourteen songs, mostly performed with great conviction and intense passion Thanks to the harmonica and guitar playing, Hinds undresses his heart and gives us his most singular human vision, from a rather subjective perspective, but always with the same goodness he shows as a human being
