A perfect mixture of harmonic emotional feelings that flow and come together along this intimist close record, where the musicians Hans Theesink and Terry Evans have joined forces to round up an album that exceeds all good fans expectations. This cd is the result of a sum that includes the performing sensitivity of two singers (in fact Hans also plays harmonica, banjo and mandolin) who carry on the legacy of Mississippi music and display it with no unnecessary interferences, only relying on fine doses of an elegant performing. This is an acoustic album full of blues, along with beautiful nuances and many gospel details, together with some vocal arrangements that communicate an intense beautiful emotion. Thirteen magnificent interpretations, that will slowly open your hearts and leave a deep unforgettable trace in your souls, like a knife in butter. As it could not be otherwise, the valuable contribution of Ry Cooder guarantees a unique effective tasteful sound.
