As the title of this album suggests, multi-instrumentalist Hamilton Loomis comes back to the primary basic elements of his music, which could be defined as simple chord progressions, straightforward catching melodies and an effective instrumentation, in addition of some immediate personal lyrics that go beyond time and space boundaries With an effective simplicity Loomis builds up an album with basic appetizing foundations where groove, funk and rock-blues are present along the selection of thirteen songs that complete his new work The result is a collection of really dynamic commercial cuts that will immediately attract most listeners This is an album that communicates a lot charisma and professionalism, thanks to the good display and knowledge of a group of experienced musicians like Hamilton Loomis on vocals, guitars, bass, harmonica and keyboards, Armando Aussenac on drums an vocals and Fabian Hernandez on sax and vocals, plus the efficient collaboration of Chris Eger on slide in one track, Sabrina LaField on bass and vocals on a song, Bo Jordan Loomis on maracas and Alex McKown, Zach Person and Michael Bryan-Harris on guitars in the song Funky Little Brother
