This is the seventh album of song writer and virtuoso harmonica player Guy Bélanger For this album Guy has chosen ten instrumental compositions, with stylistic forms that move between folk and blues, plus two other great songs, one of them sung by Luce Dufault In this recording Guy Bélanger is surrounded by a handful of real able instrumentalists who put their knowledge, always with commitment and self engagement, to enhance the leader’s skills These musicians are André Lachance on guitars, Marc-André Drouin on bass, guitar and piano and Michel Roy on drums and percussion With this recoding Guy wants to celebrate his personal victories but also assume the failures and miseries he and all of us suffer, showing the traces that have driven him to succeed and the scars of the fights life has brought him The cd becomes a good example his undeniable quality which has led him to be recognized with numerous awards along his long career This is an album that comes full of good delightful feelings, ready to be calmly savoured many times with no hurry
