Heavy rock blues with magnetic punk and varied dirty garage sound. This group of Tasmania, Australia, comes to break molds and stereotypes in twelve bar blues. The duo formed by Liam Guthrie guitars, lap steel, Resonator and vocals and Luke Young drums and percussion, plus Mick Attard harmonica on two songs, bring a terrific confusion among the audience, singing their own compositions. Musicians pour off adrenaline with the only purpose to make listeners dance and have fun with their gothic sound and their alternative disconcerting show on stage. I am sure most purists orthodox ears will not be ready to receive Guthrie, who will satisfy a more eclectic, daring bold expectant audience, always ready to deal with new generations of radical and new amplified sounds. If you like groups such as The Beards, Black Japan or The Bloodpoets, then these are your guys.
