Pure genuine bright and real down home blues is what you will find in all songs included on this cd Guitar Gabriel shows himself as a bright inspired musician and an efficient performer as well, specially if you take into account this was the first cd he recorded after thirty years of musical career With Timothy Duffy on acoustic guitar, Michael Parrish on piano and Guitar Gabriel himself on vocals and six string guitar, they give us twelve personal lively songs, performed with the passionate strong feeling only musicians who have blues on their blood know how to do it For those of you who are not familiar with this original venerable bluesman, only say he was born Robert Lewis Jones in the cradle of Piedmont sound, Atlanta, Georgia, in 1926 and he was very close friend of bluesman Blind Boy Fuller Unfortunately Gab died on April 2nd 1996 so this cd becomes a valuable treasure for blues lovers, as it gives you the opportunity to enjoy the excellent recordings of an artist totally faithful with his origins and roots: The Blues
