From the swampy lands of Louisiana bayous, land of blues and zydeco, comes the new album by singer and harmonica player Grant Dermody If his previous release entitled Sun Might Shine On Me was essentially an acoustic album, for this one Grant Dermody has chosen to produce an electric one, giving to it an old vintage sound and, the true thing, is he has got the expected result all his followers were waiting for Led by Grant Dermody on vocals and harmonica and Dirk Powell on guitar, piano and vocals, the rest of the band includes Jason Sypher on bass, Jamie Dick on drums, Corey Ledet (who has often been compared to the late Clifton Chenier) on accordion and Kelly Jones on backing vocals All of them remain faithful to the huge richness of the musical tradition and sound patterns of that particular area, to bring us a fine, honest, sincere and totally genuine work you will find along the thirteen songs that have been chosen for this recording
