    Valoración: GREAT

Excellent singer and even better harmonica player, Grant Dermody shows himself as a very good song writer and performer with an own original honest cool musical style He has also developed a deep fat bright tone too His music becomes a perfect combination of East Coast rural blues (Virginia, Georgia and The Carolinas) with a good dose of folk and a lot of Delta blues, old-time music, alt-country and even Celtic music, which gives as a result a delightful combination of a rich variety of musical styles Dermody first harp playing influences can be found on Chicago blues style, but soon he became more and more influenced by such great musicians like Blind Blake, John Jackson, Barbecue Bob, Gary Davis, Sam Chatmon and the majority of twenties jug bands A perfect cd, with a sincere performing of a great harp master, reflected on a very intimist and personal piece of work
