From 1999 to 2016 Le Net Blues Radio was active, thanks to the unselfish work of Réjean Nadon and Louise Gosselin. During all those years it became one of the most famous Internet radio stations in Quebec and surrounding area, decisively contributing to spread the blues because, thanks to the huge work of people like Réjean and Louise, blues reached a great popularity in Canada. Unfortunately budgetary problems led them to close the station. A blues passionate couple, in 2009 they both managed to accomplish another dream, to record an album with some of the songs Réjean had been writing for more than forty years. Halfway between Quebec rock and 70’s and 80’s Chicago blues, Réjean and Louise’s home became a complete recording studio during the three five hours sessions, that counted with the valuable collaboration of a good musicians line-up, like guitar players André Guérard and J.D. Slim, bass players Claude Sauvé, Marc Deschénes and J.D. Slim, drummers Benoit Ste-Marie, Bernard “Bingo” Deslauriers and Jean-François Paradis, as well as Michel Chasles on Hammond B3, Carolyne Nadon on piano and, of course, Réjean Nadon on lead guitar and vocals. So here comes a more than interesting album that shows your dreams can come true if you fight for them.
