Born in October 1969 Grady Champion was the youngest one of the twenty-eight sons of a Mississippi farmer The little boy grew up in a religious environment andm when he was eight years old, he started to sing in the local church choir, where he discovered his passion for music When he was fifteen years old the whole family moved to Miami, Florida But Grady came back soon to the state where he was born, Mississippi, to get his graduation and there he began his career as singer, guitarist and harmonica player, moving between this state and Florida During the last two decades Grady Champion has captivated the most varied audiences, both white and black, and he has also received countless nominations and awards thanks to his talent as a singer, composer and producer In this new One Of A Kind, Grady skilfully combines traditional blues with soul and rhythm and blues, along a broad honest repertoire chosen following the rules that dictates his heart Besides a teamed rhythm section and a powerful horn section, Champion has counted with some very special guests as Elvin Bishop, Theodis Ealey, Eddie Cotton or Mr Sipp
